Important Information
Optometrists in New Mexico need to complete a total of 22 hours of continuing education each year, including ten hours of Clinical/ocular therapeutic pharmacology and one hour of Pain management (or related topic); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in New Mexico run one year and end on June 30 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
