- Ocular disease diagnosis/treatment/management and pharmaceutical use — 8 hours
- Opioid/substance use disorder/addiction (DEA-registered licensees only)* — 3 hours
- General CE — 24 hours

Important Information
Optometrists in Arizona need to complete a total of 32 hours of continuing education every two years, eight hours of which are in Ocular disease diagnosis/treatment/management and pharmaceutical use, and the rest can be general CE of your choosing. A few additional topics apply only in certain situations — see the asterisked items above.
Your renewal period runs two years and ends on your birthday. Complete all required hours before that date.
