- Pain Management — 2 hours
- Ethics and Jurisprudence (incl. delegation of duties) — 1 hour
- Infection Control — 1 hour
- Implicit Bias Training — 3 hours
- General CE — 29 hours
Important Information
Dental hygienists in Michigan need to complete a total of 36 hours of continuing education every three years, including two hours of Pain Management, one hour of Ethics and Jurisprudence (incl. delegation of duties), one hour of Infection Control, and three hours of Implicit Bias Training; the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Your renewal date is tied to the date your license was issued, so it is individual to you. Periods run three years. Check your license or board account for your exact date.
