Important Information
CPAs in Michigan need to complete a total of 40 hours of continuing education each year, including eight hours of Accounting & Auditing and two hours of Professional Ethics (including 1 hour Michigan statutes/rules); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Michigan run one year and end on December 31 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
