Important Information
Optometrists in Louisiana need to complete a total of 16 hours of continuing education each year, eight hours of which are in Ocular/systemic pharmacology and diagnosis/treatment of ocular disease (in-person classroom required), and the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Louisiana run one year and end on March 1 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
