Important Information
Dental hygienists in Iowa need to complete a total of 30 hours of continuing education every two years, including one hour of Iowa jurisprudence and one hour of Infection control (CDC standards); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Iowa run two years and end on August 31 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
