- Ethics — 3 hours
- Sexual Harassment Prevention — 1 hour

- Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementias (if serving clients age 26+)* — 1 hour
- General CE — 34 hours

Important Information
Physical therapists in Illinois need to complete a total of 40 hours of continuing education every two years, including three hours of Ethics, one hour of Sexual Harassment Prevention, one hour of Implicit Bias Training, and one hour of Cultural Competency; the rest can be general CE of your choosing. A few additional topics apply only in certain situations — see the asterisked items above.
Renewal periods in Illinois run two years and end on September 30 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
