Requirements
- Health, Safety & Welfare (structured) — 16 hours
- Sexual Harassment Prevention Training — 1 hour
- High Winds / Natural Disasters Design — 1 hour
- General CE — 6 hours
Important Information
Architects in Illinois need to complete a total of 24 hours of continuing education every two years, including 16 hours of Health, Safety & Welfare (structured), one hour of Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, and one hour of High Winds / Natural Disasters Design; the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Illinois run two years and end on November 30 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
