Requirements
- Professional conduct and/or ethics — 1 hour
- Illinois statutes and rules (engineering practice) — 1 hour
- Sexual harassment prevention training — 1 hour
- General CE — 27 hours
Important Information
Engineers in Illinois need to complete a total of 30 hours of continuing education every two years, including one hour of Professional conduct and/or ethics, one hour of Illinois statutes and rules (engineering practice), and one hour of Sexual harassment prevention training; the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Illinois run two years and end on November 30 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
