Important Information
Real estate professionals in the District of Columbia need to complete a total of 15 hours of continuing education every two years, including three hours of DC Fair Housing, three hours of DC Ethics, three hours of DC Legislative Update, and three hours of Property Management; the rest can be general CE of your choosing. A few additional topics apply only in certain situations — see the asterisked items above.
Renewal periods in the District of Columbia run two years and end on August 31 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
