Important Information

Pharmacists in the District of Columbia need to complete a total of 40 hours of continuing education every two years, including ten hours of Live CE programs, two hours of Medication/dispensing errors, two hours of HIV training, two hours of LGBTQ cultural competency or specialized clinical training, and four hours of Public health priorities (Director-designated topics); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.

Your renewal period runs two years and ends on the last day of your birth month — not your birthday itself. Complete all required hours before that date.
