Requirements
- Ethics (AOTA Code of Ethics or equivalent) — 1 hour
- Tennessee Jurisprudence (OT Practice Act) — 1 hour
- General CE — 22 hours
Important Information
Occupational therapists in Tennessee need to complete a total of 24 hours of continuing education every two years, including one hour of Ethics (AOTA Code of Ethics or equivalent) and one hour of Tennessee Jurisprudence (OT Practice Act); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Your renewal period runs two years and ends on the last day of your birth month — not your birthday itself. Complete all required hours before that date.
