- CORE subjects (Rhode Island licensing law, contracts, fair housing, environmental, landlord-tenant, financing, ethics, coastal real estate, local ordinances) — 9 hours
- Fair Housing (included within CORE) — 3 hours
- General CE — 12 hours
Important Information
Real estate professionals in Rhode Island need to complete a total of 24 hours of continuing education every two years, including nine hours of CORE subjects (Rhode Island licensing law, contracts, fair housing, environmental, landlord-tenant, financing, ethics, coastal real estate, local ordinances) and three hours of Fair Housing (included within CORE); the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Your renewal date is tied to the date your license was issued, so it is individual to you. Periods run two years. Check your license or board account for your exact date.
