Important Information
Family therapists in New Jersey need to complete a total of 40 hours of continuing education every two years, including five hours of Ethical and Legal Standards, three hours of Social and Cultural Competency, and one hour of Opioid Education; the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in New Jersey run two years and end on June 30 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
