Requirements
- Ethics and Florida law/rules (combined; ≥1 hr ethics, ≥1 hr FL law) — 3 hours
- Prevention of medical errors — 2 hours
- Domestic violence (required once every third biennium, not every cycle)* — 2 hours
- General CE — 35 hours

Important Information
Psychologists in Florida need to complete a total of 40 hours of continuing education every two years, including three hours of Ethics and Florida law/rules (combined; ≥1 hr ethics, ≥1 hr FL law) and two hours of Prevention of medical errors; the rest can be general CE of your choosing. A few additional topics apply only in certain situations — see the asterisked items above.
Renewal periods in Florida run two years and end on May 31 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
