Important Information
Teachers in Arkansas need to complete a total of 180 hours of continuing education every five years, including two hours of Child Maltreatment Recognition & Reporting, two hours of Mental Health Awareness, two hours of Teen Suicide Awareness & Prevention, and two hours of Bullying Prevention; the rest can be general CE of your choosing.
Renewal periods in Arkansas run five years and end on December 31 for every licensee. Complete all required hours before that date.
